Snail Creams
I spent a lot of times reading beauty blogs and I kept on reading rave reviews about snail creams. So I purchased the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream and Mizon All In One Snail Repair Cream. I used the Mizon Recovery Gel Cream as my moisturizer this past summer and I'm not a fan of the snail cream. I have oily skin and the snail cream doesn't help with oil control. My face felt super duper shiny after a few hours. I gave the product a fair shot and it wasn't for me. I purchased the Mizon products on Peach and Lily and paid a couple extra bucks more. If I did my research I could have saved myself a few bucks but if you would like to give these products a try - I recommend using Amazon or Rose Rose Shop.
Korean Beauty Products
My obsession with Korean beauty products has lead me down a rabbit hole where I spent countless hours on ReddIt. So I took a step and made my first Korean beauty product haul from RoseRoseShop. RoseRoseShop sells Korean beauty products relatively cheaper than most sites, but the cheaper price yields to a higher shipping fee. I kept on wondering if I received a "good deal" on my K-beauty haul. I thought about creating price analysis table on Excel, but that's another headache and rabbit hole that I'm trying to avoid. I have accepted the fact that I spent $83.81 (includes the $20 bucks for shipping) and received the following 19 product:
1. Too Cool for School: Pumpkin Sleeping Pack
2. Skin Food: Egg White Pack Nose Cool Down
3. Mizon: Cotton Shower Sheet Essence
4. Skin Food: Bird's Nest Beauty in a Food Mask x2
5. Tony Moly: Kelp Mask Sheet
6. Tony Moly: Intensive Heel Patch x2
7. Tony Moly: I'm Real Tea Tree Mask Sheet Skin Soothing
8. Tony Moly: I'm Real Makgeolli Mask Sheet Skin Purifying
9. Tony Moly: I'm Real Seaweeds Mask Sheet Skin Purifying
10. Tony Moly: I'm Real Red Wine Mask Sheet Pore Care
11. Skin Food: Egg White Pore Meringue Foam
12. Mizon: Good Night White Sleeping Mask
13. SNP: Bird's Nest Aqua Eye Patch
14. Mizon: Trouble Clinic Acence Blemish Control Soothing Gel Cream
14. Innisfree: Capsule Recipe Pack
15. Innis free: Capsule Recipe Pack Sleeping Pack
16. Mizon: Seaweed Jelly Scrub (Read review from Fifty Shades of Snail)
Overall I would recommend RoseRoseShop especially for Mizon products since they offer free shipping. It took two weeks for me to receive my package, but I'm happy with it! My only regret is that I didn't get any serums - next time right?

K - Beauty Bandwagon
Lately I've been obsessing over Korean beauty products. I've been spending a lot of time on Peach & Lily, Glow Recipe, Memebox, and Soko Glam. If you check my search history, all you will find are Korean beauty products. I realized that I spend a chuck of money on the latest and trendiest beauty products, but I've never truly seen results or improvements. I think it's a mixture of using the wrong products and I'm always bailing on the product after a few usages. My goal is to be more diligent with my skincare routine. I recently turned 25 and I'm taking a step in preventative care. Anyways, I found a few skincare blogs that I liked and found extremely resourceful. In no particular ...
- Fifty Shades of Snail
- Snow White & the Asian Pear
- Skin & Tonics
- Fanserviced-B
- The Wanderlust Project
The following two items has been sitting in my shopping cart, but I haven't taken the plunge yet..

Joey Maalouf Shares His Skin-Perfecting Secrets
Better late then never. I kinda loathe this phrase, but it applies to me and my relationship with makeup. I never cared enough to experiment with makeup in my teens and here I am now in my early 20's experimenting! Hopefully I can bypass the awkward makeup phrase with these few tips from makeup artist Joey Maalouf that he shared with The Zoe Report.
These are the tools:
Tip 1: Use A Sponge For Even Application
Dot cheeks, forehead, nose and chin with liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer and blend with a sponge to ensure an even application. Never pour foundation directly onto the sponge.
Tip 2: Powder All But Your Cheeks
Apply powder on your forehead, chin, under eyes and around the nose. Avoid cheeks – you want to keep a bit of dewiness on skin for a healthy glow.
Tip 3: Add A Highlight To EyesFor a gorgeous luminosity, apply a silvery eye shadow on the inside corners of the eyes on top and bottom.
Tip 3: Add A Highlight To Eyes
Set the look by blending color with a flat eye shadow brush.
